The project was originally dreamed up by Benjamin, But without the knowledge of how to do it he was stuck, this held the project up, Rihards and Benjamin started talking (originally in an argument no less!) and Rihards gradually took Benjamin under his wing so to speak. So Benjamin started learning PHP very, very quickly. To practise and learn on, he needed a project he could do from scratch so he could understand how things work, This is that project.



Rihards stayed out of directly coding to as much degree as possible so Benjamin would learn. The code to run the site is 95% only thought up in the creator's heads, some things are influenced roughly by other free projects, but nothing is a direct copy. It is all looked at, and improved. Then audited.



The design is completely created by Benjamin, The design "Prometheus 1" is a pre-alpha version of the site used to test things. It will support every feature on the site.



The site is NOT designed for IE6, and no plans to change that are active. This site is designed for later in the year/early 2007 when IE7 will hopefully be mainstream.
